How to Use BeamO

1. Set up the app — Download the free Withings app on iOS (16+) or Android (9.0+). Create or log into your Withings account and follow the in-app guide to pair BeamO via Bluetooth. Setup requires a smartphone and cannot be completed on a computer.
2. Take a temperature reading — Hold BeamO 1–3 cm from the center of the forehead and press the scan button. HotSpot Gen2™ locates the temporal artery automatically and returns a reading in seconds.
3. Record an ECG — Select ECG mode. Rest the stainless steel electrodes against your fingertips on both hands and remain still for 30 seconds. Your heart's electrical activity is recorded and saved automatically to the app.
4. Record heart & lung sounds — Select Stethoscope mode and follow the on-screen placement guide to position the sensor head against your chest. Hold still and breathe normally. Optionally plug in headphones via the 3.5mm jack to hear sounds in real time. Recordings save automatically.
5. Review and share your data — All readings sync to the Withings app where they are trended over time. Share via Health Link for a real-time doctor view, or export a PDF Health Report. With Withings+, submit your ECG for a cardiologist review within 24 hours.
