My wife has had multiple surgeries on her back and right leg. She also has fragile bones and finds it difficult to walk. She cannot get out of the bathtub or off the floor without assistance. She is 79 and I am 80 and her only caregiver. I am reaching the end of my abilities to lift her and needed to find a solution. While I have only had the lift for a few weeks I have found it to be a great help. It is lightweight but lifts her 200 lbs from the tub easily. Very happy customer to date.
I am the husband of a woman that suffers from Ataxia. Thus she has balance problems and occasionally falls without warning. We haven�t had the need to use after a fall but have tested the unit in our living room. The lift makes it so easy for her to recover to a standing position should she fall. Lifts more than others (built stronger). Weighs less than others (easier to lift as we grow older) . Rests lower than others (tub does not have to be as full). Easier to take with you with rubber strap and floor rollers. Waterproof so it can be used anywhere. Type of suction cups are more durable and work better on various floor types. Batteries last longer, so you are not constantly charging to assure safety. When you compare all of the features with other floor lifts, there is really no other choice. Just ordered a second one for my sister.
