Polar Verity Sense is a compact, versatile optical heart rate monitor designed for athletes who find traditional chest straps restrictive. It provides maximum freedom of movement and multiple options for viewing and recording your workouts. With Bluetooth®, ANT+, and internal memory, you can connect to a sports watch, gym equipment, or mobile app to see your workout in real time, or review your data afterwards.

Connectivity

Broadcast your heart rate to the equipment and apps you use. Polar Verity Sense supports simultaneous dual Bluetooth channels and unlimited ANT+ connections, making it easy to connect to gym equipment, sports watches, mobile apps, and other compatible devices.

Internal Memory

With 16 MB of internal storage, the sensor can save up to 600 hours of training data directly on the device. Train without carrying your phone, then sync your workout data afterwards.

Swimming Metrics

A dedicated swimming mode automatically tracks heart rate, distance, pace, and pool turns. The included goggle strap clip lets you measure heart rate from the temple while you swim.

Broadcast Range

An omnidirectional antenna provides up to 150 meters (492 ft) of broadcasting range, making Polar Verity Sense well suited to team sports, coaching, and sideline monitoring.

Durability

Polar Verity Sense is water-resistant up to 50 meters (WR50) and operates in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 140°F.

Why Optical Heart Rate (OHR) vs. ECG Chest Straps?

• Maximum Comfort & Freedom: ECG chest straps measure the heart's electrical activity and must be worn tightly around the chest, which can cause chafing or restrict breathing during intense exercise. Optical sensors use LED lights to track blood volume changes under the skin, allowing the sensor to be worn comfortably on the upper arm, forearm, or temple.
• No Moisture Required: Chest strap electrodes must be moistened with water or sweat to conduct a signal. Optical sensors are ready to read instantly against dry skin.
